Lightning Arms Sports Inc. welcomes Charles (Skip) Ritchie aboard as one of our premier custom holster makers.  Skip, a prodigy and business partner of Lou Alessi for 12 years from 1984-1996, worked with Lou during his last year of life which rekindled his love for making holsters and led to the recent formation of the Ritchie Leather Co., Inc. with his brother Bob. The Ritchie brothers operate their business out of the former Alessi Shop on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst, N.Y. which holds many fond memories for all that knew Lou.

CQ-QR

The Close Quarter Quick Release is the Ritchie version of one of the best outside the waistband holsters ever conceived — The Alessi CQC/S. This is a pancake concealment holster design with reinforced mouth, integrated snap loops, and slight cant rides as low on the belt as possible offering a very secure platform.

Lightning

The Lightning is the Ritchie version of one of the best outside the waistband holsters ever conceived for 5” 1911 and Browning Hi Power pistols – The Alessi DOJ Open Port. This straight drop holster offers fast acquisition with a reinforced mouth and 1.5” belt slot and tunnel loop.

VSS-S

The Vertical Speed Scabbard With Snap is the Ritchie version of the Alessi DOJ/S.  The VSS-S has a tunnel loop on the back side with a rear loop belt snap with straight drop configuration (0 degree cant.) which lends itself to strong side or cross draw use.

Hideaway

The Legend lives on with the Hideaway inside the pant holster, an improved design of the 1984 Lou Alessi/Charles Ritchie Hideout II, having a very comfortable and stable platform with interchangeable offset snap loops and a reinforced mouth.
